Harriet provides patent advice to a range of companies from new start-ups to multi-national companies. She enjoys discussing inventions with R&D teams directly and drafting and prosecuting patent applications to meet long-term technical and commercial strategies for clients, both at home in Europe and globally.
Harriet is also experienced in representing clients at oral proceedings before the European Patent Office at opposition and appeal.

Harriet graduated from the University of Cambridge with a BA (Hons) in Natural Sciences. During her academic studies she focused on Materials Science and conducted research internships at the ETHZ in Switzerland. Harriet joined GJE in 2013 and completed her European and UK qualifications at the firm.
