Jake is a Trainee Patent Attorney working in GJE’s Chemistry and Life Sciences group. He works across many fields of biotechnology including antibody therapy and vaccine development, where he is involved with drafting and prosecuting patents.
Outside of work, he enjoys travelling, playing guitar, and going to the gym.
Jake has experience in the fields of genetics and synthetic biology. He has particular experience in:
- Antibody technologies
- Vaccines
- Microbiology
- Immunology
Jake graduated from the University of Bristol with a Master’s by Research degree in Biological Sciences, with particular focus on Synthetic Biology. Before joining GJE in 2022, he worked in policy and research for a science advocacy charity.
