Harriet graduated from the University of Cambridge with an Honours Degree in Natural Sciences, specialising in materials science. During her academic studies, Harriet completed research placements at the ETH Zurich in the fields of tribology and multiferroics.
Harriet joined Gill Jennings & Every in 2013 and qualified as a European Patent Attorney in 2018.
Harriet works on various technology areas, in particular those relating to materials science and engineering; chemistry; and pharmaceuticals.
As well as working with clients on the day-to-day aspects of their patent portfolios, Harriet has a focus on advising clients on contentious matters. She has experience in both opposing and defending patents at the European Patent Office in opposition and appeal proceedings. In addition, she has experience working on post-grant procedures at the UKIPO.
