Kevin graduated from The University of Leeds with a first class degree in Biochemistry, being awarded the Frank Happold prize for the highest mark in his year. After winning a studentship for a Welcome Trust PhD programme, he stayed at Leeds to undertake research into the biology of protein misfolding diseases.
Kevin joined Gill Jennings & Every in 2015 and holds a PG certificate in IP law from Queen Mary, University of London, passing with Distinction.
Kevin works on a wide variety of subject matter in the life sciences and pharmaceutical fields, with a particular focus on biological therapeutics, drug re-profiling, medical diagnostics, gene editing technologies and industrial biotechnology.
Kevin works with a range of domestic and international companies, managing the prosecution of their global patent families. He is also experienced in biotech drafting, and assists clients when defending or opposing European patents in EPO Oppositions and Appeals. Kevin also assists in due diligence exercises for a range of investors seeking assurances over the technologies behind the companies they invest in.
Kevin likes to relax by playing tennis or spending time with his young family, but never both together.
