Lisa joined Gill Jennings & Every in 2011. Prior to this she worked for another firm of trade mark attorneys and also undertook an in-house secondment to one of the world’s co-leading wine and spirit companies.
Lisa is a CITMA Paralegal having passed the Trade Mark Administrator’s course in 2010 (now known as the Paralegal Course). She is also a Fellow of the Institute of Paralegals and additionally holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property.
Trade Mark Paralegal Team Leader
Heading up the trade mark paralegal team Lisa, is responsible for day-to-day supervision of the paralegal team, focusing on efficiency, service delivery, quality of work, training and development.
Supporting the firm’s trade mark team, Lisa has particular experience in handling assignment and other recordal programmes, carrying out research, due-diligence and informal clearance checks, as well as setting up and monitoring customs and watch applications. She also assists the attorneys with prosecution work, drafting specifications, providing cost estimates, portfolio reviews and advising on the best filing strategies according to each client’s specific needs.
Lisa is also part of the CITMA paralegal course committee and is also a lecturer on the course.
