Prajwal obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from University of Delhi. He later did his Masters in Management at the University of Edinburgh.

He also has a PG Certificate in Patents Law from Queen Mary University of London.

Career History

Prajwal joined Gill Jennings & Every in 2019, having previously worked at another private practice firm in London. Prajwal has also worked in-house for multinational companies in the UK and India.

Prajwal qualified as a European Patent Attorney in 2018.

Prajwal works on a wide range of subject areas in electronics, telecom, and electromechanical fields. Prajwal has particularly gained experience by working on inventions related to consumer electronics, computer networking, software, and hydrogen fuel cell technology.

Prajwal has particular interest in advising SMEs, independent inventors, and academia. In addition to his breadth of experience in patent drafting and prosecution in various jurisdictions, Prajwal has worked closely with inventors and business heads on patent harvesting, disclosure generation, and IP reviews.

Having worked in the industry for a number of years, Prajwal has developed a keen understanding of internal patent processes, IP strategy, and other aspects of IP such as know-how and trade secrets. He has also been involved in patent acquisitions, valuation, IP due diligence and audits during his time in the industry.

Prajwal has gained valuable international perspective by being trained by European, American, and Indian patent attorneys over time. He is on the CIPA International Liaison Committee and actively participates in various IP events and conferences.

Prajwal values the commercial side of IP and focusses on maximising gains while mitigating risks for his clients.

Prajwal is a keen traveller and a blogger. He has travelled to the “End of the world” in Ushuaia, Argentina. He is also a volunteer on London team ambassador programme run by Mayor of London.
