Shu graduated from the University of Cambridge with an Honours and Masters Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
She also holds the Certificate in Intellectual Property (with Distinction) from Queen Mary University of London.
Shu joined GJE in 2012.
Shu is working towards full qualification as a UK patent attorney.
Shu completed an Honours and Masters degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Her studies covered general engineering topics before she specialised in Electronics, and her modules included semiconductor engineering, photonic systems, solid state devices, nanotechnology, display technology, RF and digital electronics, and renewable and nuclear energy. For her final year project, Shu worked at the Centre for Advanced Photonics and Electronics, and was involved in designing, fabricating and testing Film Bulk Acoustic Resonator (FBAR) based biosensors.
She is gaining experience in drafting and prosecution of UK, European and foreign patent applications in a variety of fields, including networking and telecommunications equipment, medical devices and consumer products. Shu has also worked with a range of multinational corporations, SMEs and individual inventors.
