Thomas graduated from the University of Augsburg, Germany with a bachelor in law and passed the bar exam in Bavaria, Germany. Thomas was admitted a master of laws degree by the Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.
Thomas joined Gill Jennings & Every in 2018, having previously worked at another top-tier firm of patent and trademark attorneys.
Thomas originally joined the intellectual property profession in 2006.
Attorney at Law
Thomas works in trade mark and design law as well as in unfair competition law. Thomas represents clients before the German and European Union intellectual property offices and before German infringement courts. He advises domestic and international clients ranging from start-ups to large companies in different areas, e.g. artificial turf, cosmetics and sun-shading. Thomas is experienced in German and European Union trademark prosecution, oppositions and infringement proceedings.
Thomas seeks to understand his clients’ commercial and strategic goals and tailors his intellectual property advice accordingly.
In his spare time, Thomas enjoys mountaineering and skiing and spending quality time with his wife and her young son.
