We are looking for a BD & Marketing Executive to join our BD & Marketing Team at Gill Jennings & Every.
As BD & Marketing Executive, you will play a key role in a small team, working with our CompTech, Advanced Engineering, Food & Drink, MedTech, BioPharma, Chemistry and Design attorneys, as well as many other project sub-teams. You will be developing and delivering the firm’s digital strategy and supporting the firms broader BD and marketing objectives. You will report directly to the BD & Marketing Manager and provide input into the firms brand development projects, working with external agencies to deliver creative briefs; coordinating and marketing corporate events; written collateral; social media; and website content updates. Work with the BD & Marketing Manager to deliver email campaigns, including a GJE bulletin and themed content collections on behalf of the different sector groups. Including but not limited to, designing and testing emails, ensuring that email distribution lists and target pipelines are up to date, maintaining the CRM database and ensuring data integrity.
Uploading relevant content to the website, using WordPress. Ensuring the website content is up to date and providing key analytic insights into the website, including the use of Google Analytics.
Assisting with the research, coordination and promotion behind our client and prospect focused events, and GJE Expert Talk webinars. Including but not limited to, liaising with our support teams on logistics, putting together invitations and landing pages, putting together tailored content, and ensuring timely follow ups are conducted after an event.
Supporting our digital marketing initiatives on social media platforms by designing posts, implementing, monitoring and reporting on activities across LinkedIn, YouTube and Twitter.
Working directly with partners and associates in our various sector groups to provide administrative and research support.
Produce branded marketing collateral from one page PDFs to white papers, with the use of Adobe InDesign.
Developing and project managing marketing collateral and content for legal directories, award submissions, the website and client communications.
Working with the BD & Marketing Manager to identify new business opportunities, then conduct market research, develop the campaign, execute, and follow up.
Occasionally, assisting fee earners in developing new business through pitches, ensuring documentation is adhering to brand guidelines.
Providing administrative support for the BD & Marketing Manager.

Educated to degree level or CIM qualified
Experience of delivering events
Ability to prioritise and manage own workload
A working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
A working knowledge of HubSpot, including contact management and email editing
Prepared to work evenings very occasionally when events are taking place or when deadlines are to be met
Desire to work within a small team
Experience in a similar role, ideally gained within professional services
Experience using Adobe InDesign
A working knowledge of WordPress
Experienced in speaking with people at all levels of seniority, gaining their trust and confidence
