George is a European and UK patent attorney in GJE’s IT & engineering team, with experience protecting mechanical, electrical, medical, and computer technology innovations. His work regularly involves drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the UK, Europe, and further afield. George also advises clients on filing and prosecuting UK registered designs.
George works with a diverse range of clients, from start-ups to large multinational corporations, and tailors his advice to reflect their individual commercial needs.
Outside of work, George enjoys climbing, travelling, and adding to his houseplant collection.

George graduated from Durham University in 2021 with a master’s degree in physics. Prior to joining GJE, George worked for another leading private practice firm from 2021. George later joined GJE in 2024, qualifying as a European patent attorney in 2025, and a UK patent attorney in 2026.
