GJE hits gold in IAM Patent 1000 2026 rankings

GJE is delighted to have been recognised with the highest possible gold ranking in the IAM Patent 1000 2026 rankings of the world’s leading patent professionals. For the second year running, our patent team has achieved “double gold”, having been placed in the top band for work at both the European Patent Office (EPO) and in the UK.  

Recognised equally for our strength in patent prosecution and in complex opposition proceedings, clients described the firm as “reliable, professional and able to engage closely with both technical and commercial priorities”. Clients told the researchers that they particularly appreciated our responsiveness, our subject matter knowledge, and our “strong technical depth across the team”.

This year, 15 of our partners and directors were identified for individual praise.

The news follows GJE attorneys’ inclusion in the IAM Patent Strategy 300 in August 2025, and in the IAM Global Leaders 2026.

2026 marks the 15th edition of the IAM Patent 1000 rankings. As part of the research process the publishers conducted around 900 interviews with lawyers, patent attorneys and in-house counsel to gather market intelligence on the leading players in the field. The survey covers 60 jurisdictions worldwide.
