Shapeetha Ariyaratnam
Trainee Patent Attorney
Shapeetha is a Trainee Patent Attorney in the IT & Engineering department, working towards full qualification. Her work includes the drafting and prosecution of European and UK patent applications.
Outside of work, Shapeetha enjoys writing, singing, swimming, and a range of arts and crafts.
Shapeetha has particular experience dealing with:
- Computer-implemented inventions
- Video game technology
- Scientific apparatus
- Telecommunications
Shapeetha graduated from Imperial College London in 2024 with a first-class Masters degree in aeronautical engineering. Her final-year project involved machine learning and virtual sensing methods for the structural resilience of next generation aerospace vehicles.
Shapeetha joined GJE in September 2024.
