Financial Times ranks GJE No. 1 patent law firm in Europe for 2025

For the seventh year in a row, GJE is proud to have been ranked No. 1 in the Financial Times’ annual survey of Europe’s leading patent law firms.

In all six areas of expertise surveyed, we are delighted to have received the highest possible “Gold” ranking. This makes us one of only six firms to achieve the top ranking in all technical areas, and the only firm to have been ranked No. 1 consistently for seven years.

The new rankings confirm GJE’s preeminent position as an intellectual property leader in Europe. The 2025 rankings highlight our leading capabilities in:

The FT’s rankings are based on responses to a survey carried out by Statista over the spring. Over 3,300 clients and patent attorneys across Europe participated in the research. Gold rankings of the sort achieved by GJE are only awarded to firms that were recommended very frequently by clients and peers.
