Debbie Byard
Head of Records and Formalities
Debbie is responsible for GJE’s records and formalities, and manages an exceptional team. Her team handle all incoming correspondence ensuring that records are maintained to the highest standards. Her formalities team handle the European patent grant process and address for service requirements for the UK. Debbie has an abundance of knowledge that is complimented by over 15 year’s management experience.
In her spare time Debbie is an avid football fan following her team at home and away matches, having visited many cities across Europe to cheer them on. She also likes travelling.
Debbie joined GJE in May 2017 and has over 35 years’ experience in patent and trade mark records, having started at a well-known multinational company before developing her career at some of the top patent and trade mark law firms in London.
