Krishna Lall

Krishna is a trainee patent attorney in the chemistry and life sciences group and is working towards becoming a fully qualified European and UK patent attorney. His work focuses on the technical areas of electroactive materials & battery chemistry, and pharmaceuticals. Krishna is also a member of GJE’s Diversity & Inclusion group.

Outside work, Krishna is a keen rugby player and an active volunteer within the Rugby Football Union, sitting as a member of the RFU’s Inclusive Leadership Delivery Group and as an observer to the Board of Trustees of the Rugby Football Foundation.

Krishna has particular experience dealing with:

• Electroactive materials and battery chemistry
• Pharmaceuticals
• Detergents and their compositions
• Polymeric films and fibres
• Medical devices

Krishna graduated from Imperial College London in 2022 with a first class bachelor’s degree in chemistry. He was awarded the Joachim Steinke Prize for Excellence in Organic Chemistry and secured a place on the Dean’s List for each year of his studies. His final year project focused on the para-selective C-H functionalisation of aryl boronic acids.

Krishna worked at a London-based engineering start-up after graduating, where he helped establish the foundations of the company’s intellectual property portfolio. He subsequently joined GJE in Summer 2023 and is currently a part-qualified trainee patent attorney.
