We are delighted to announce that Luca Colombo and Rebecca Matheson have joined the partnership.

Luca Colombo joined GJE in 2021, having previously worked at other top-tier IP firms both in Italy and Germany.  Luca manages GJE’s European trade mark and design practice and advises clients throughout industries on European, international, and multi-jurisdictional issues.  Luca is also very active in the firm’s business development and client care.

Luca Colombo commented: “I am delighted and honoured to be joining the Partnership. It is a great opportunity for us to strengthen our EU presence and practice, and I am very much looking forward to contributing to the further growth of the firm in my new role”.

Rebecca joined the patent profession in January 2013, initially working at another leading patent firm before joining GJE in December 2014. Rebecca is a trusted advisor for companies ranging from SMEs to large multinationals, and is particularly experienced in the chemistry and medical device fields.  Whether it’s increasing their attractiveness to investors, or gaining leverage over their competitors, Rebecca enjoys helping her clients make use of the patent process to support their commercial goals.
