Kessia is a European Patent Attorney and works on a wide variety of subject areas in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical fields.
Kessia has particular experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the subject areas of:
- Immunology
- Oncology
- Diagnostic assays
- Vaccines
- Cell biology
European Patent Attorney
Kessia has a First Class degree in Neuroscience from the University of Leeds, where she also undertook an industrial placement year at MedImmune (AstraZeneca). Kessia then went on to complete her PhD at King’s College London, also in Neuroscience, where her doctoral work focused on the importance of peripheral mediators in chronic pain states.
Kessia joined GJE in September 2018 and qualified as a European Patent Attorney in 2022.
