Alasdair graduated from Kingston University with an Honours Degree in Law, following which he completed the Law Society Finals course at the College of Law in York. He went on to complete a Masters degree in law from University College London.

Career History

Alasdair joined the firm in 1994 and qualified as a trade mark attorney in 1997. He was admitted as a solicitor in 2000 and became a Partner in 2002.

He was elected Chairman of the firm in January 2021.

He has been involved in one of the leading English cases on non-use revocation and the key issue as to what constitutes “genuine use” of a trade mark.
