Eric is a UK and European patent attorney with experience in physics and software-related fields. Eric works with a range of clients, from multinational corporations to individual inventors, and is primarily involved in drafting and prosecuting UK, European and foreign patent applications across a variety of technologies.
Outside of work, Eric enjoys playing chess, Thai boxing, and reading.
Eric is involved most heavily with patents concerning:
- Telecommunications
- Optics
- Electronic cigarettes
- Memory and semiconductor devices
He does however work on a wide variety of subject matter.

In 2018, Eric graduated from the University of Glasgow with a Master’s degree in Physics with Astrophysics. His Master’s projects concerned image analysis of solar prominences as well as a review of tokamak fusion reactor exhaust systems. Eric sat and passed the European qualifying exams in 2023 to become a European patent attorney. Eric became a qualified UK patent attorney in 2024.
